About Us

Your Community-based Pain Education and Management Team

Our Philosophy

Everything we do is designed to improve the quality of life of people living with pain and to help them find a way around or through barriers that prevent meaningful engagement in activities of daily life. We seek to do this as soon as practical and possible in their pain journey and in their local community.

Our Approach

Our distinctive community-based, multidisciplinary, approach to chronic pain management sets us apart from many other models. This community-based model brings assessment, treatment, and education directly to your doorstep, ensuring convenience, comfort, and personalised care.

Here's what defines our approach:

Assessment Phase: Our program starts with a comprehensive assessment phase, where our team of allied health professionals collaborates with your GP. This phase normally takes 6-8 weeks and results in a tailored pain management plan designed specifically to meet your individual needs.

Personalised Pain Management Plan: Through our assessment process, we create a personalised pain management plan that provides personalised recommendations for Education, Medical Therapy, Physical Reconditioning and Behavioural Therapy requirements. This plan serves as your initial roadmap to effectively manage your chronic pain.

Educational Empowerment: Our educational component consists of workshops conducted in small groups of around 15 individuals with online options available also. Covering a wide range of topics from nutrition to psychology these workshops equip you with tools and knowledge for active self-management.

Flexible Formats: We understand that schedules vary. Our workshops are available in various formats; 12, 20-week or 10-month options. We also offer interactive webinars or self-directed online eLearning providing flexibility and accessibility to suit your preferences.

Concurrent Treatment and Education: Our approach emphasises both treatment and education. We encourage you to involve local allied health professionals while following and collaboratively evolving your pain plan, ensuring a consistent and holistic approach to your care.
