About Us

Your Community-based Pain Education and Management Team

About Us

At Pain Education and Management, we provide a community-based, flexible approach to chronic pain — one that puts people at the centre of their care and brings expert support closer to home.

We understand the healthcare system can be complex and overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed a model that works in partnership with your GP and local health professionals, delivering care that’s personalised, accessible, and aligned with international best-practice guidelines.

Whether you need a high-level review, a full multidisciplinary assessment, or practical education to help manage day-to-day pain, you can start with the option that suits you best.

What We Offer

🧭 Case Review – A Starting Point

Our case review is ideal if you’re unsure where to begin or want to understand your current options. It provides high-level guidance on:

  • Possible care and support options

  • Medicare-funded services you may not be accessing

  • Next steps to explore with your GP

55% of the clients we review are missing out on at least $300 in Medicare subsidies.

After your appointment, you’ll receive a personalised report outlining key findings and recommendations, including helpful fact sheets and a copy for your GP.

🩺 Clinical Assessment – Build a Personalised Plan

Our comprehensive clinical assessment offers a full picture of your pain, lifestyle, and health needs. Over 6–8 weeks, you’ll work with a team that may include a psychologist, physiotherapist, and pharmacist — all coordinated in partnership with your GP.

The result is a tailored pain management plan with:

  • Medical and medication guidance

  • Physical reconditioning recommendations

  • Behavioural and psychological strategies

  • Education pathways

You’ll also gain access to bulk billing and preferred rates through our trusted provider partner network, helping to reduce out-of-pocket costs.

All care is based on the biopsychosocial model and aligned with international best-practice pain management.

🎓 Education – Learn to Self-Manage with Confidence

Our education stream helps you build the skills, knowledge, and confidence to take an active role in managing your pain.

We offer three flexible formats:

  • Face-to-Face Group Workshops – Six in-person sessions with peer connection and expert presentations

  • Hybrid Online Program – Watch pre-recorded presentations, then join live online group discussions

  • Individual One-on-One Program – Self-paced learning with personalised follow-up sessions via telehealth

Topics include pain science, sleep, movement, psychological resilience, and lifestyle strategies — all focused on building your capacity to live well with chronic pain.
