Start the Pathways to Pain Management Program

Referral Pathways

Pathways to Pain Management is a structured chronic pain education and support program designed to work alongside your GP and healthcare providers.

The program combines evidence-based education with access to allied health consultations and, where appropriate, coordinated care planning.

Your GP remains central to your care. The program is designed to support, not replace, the care you receive from your doctor and other clinicians.

To ensure care is coordinated and consistent, all participants in the program are linked with a GP or treating clinician.

Three Ways to Start

1 - Start the program now

You can begin the program immediately by creating an account and starting the education program online.

When registering, you will be asked to nominate your GP or treating clinician so we can ensure your care remains coordinated.

2. Ask your GP to refer you

Your GP can refer you directly to Pathways to Pain Management so the program can be integrated into your ongoing care.

3. Referral from allied health or other clinicians

Physiotherapists, psychologists and other health professionals can also refer patients to the program as part of their existing care.

Ask them about referral options or suggest they contact us directly.

WorkCover Queensland

If your pain is related to a workplace injury, the program may be available through your WorkCover Queensland claim.

There are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients once approval is granted.
